I've been working in the web since 1998 and have been exposed to many different developers and designers. The products and support Vidal and Script Geni provides is refreshing; just knowing there will be a reply to an email if your script tanks or if you have a modification question is great.
Communication with the code author is an overlooked but important factor when buying any software. This is not an issue with Vidal and Script Geni as they value service and support highly.
