JobGeni Installation instructions

Download and extract the zip file to a local folder on your computer or in your web server.

Download license.php from the download page provided with the email and place it in the root of folder where you extracted the zip file.

Upload all the files to your server.

• CHMOD the /cache directory to 777
• CHMOD conf.php /file to 777
• CHMOD the /includes/languages/*.* files to 777
• Open .htaccess file and change domain
  • RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^(www\.)?jobgeni\.com$ [NC]
  • RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^([a-z]+)\.jobgeni\.com$

Edit Job Categories

• Change Job Categories in /includes/categories-*.*

Edit Job/City Locations

• Change Job Categories in /includes/locations-*.*

How to add an RSS feed?

• Go to a Jobsite and search a job
• Find RSS Url/icon on search results page and copy the RSS Feed

Build up the RSS Feed url

• http://rss.indeed.com/rss?q=$q$workExp+$refineKeyword&l=$jobLocation
• http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/job-rss-k-$q$workExp+$refineKeyword-l-$jobLocation

Safe RSS Feed File

• Place the new file "namejobsite.php" /includes/sources/country/

Launch the Admin Panel and login with default username and password "admin".
